An AI caption generator that runs in your browser
Editr uses an open speech recognition model that runs on your own device, so you get AI captions without sending your footage to a server. Then you style, animate and export them in the same place.
Why use Editr
On-device AI
Speech recognition runs in your browser, using your graphics card when it can.
Choose the model
Pick a smaller model for speed or a larger one for accuracy.
A full editor
Timeline, layers, titles, stickers, GIFs and audio, not just a caption box.
Export your way
Video, audio or subtitle files.
How it works

- 2Add a video.
- 3Auto-generate captions with the model you prefer.
- 4Style and export.
Questions
Does the AI send my video away?
No. The model runs locally. Only Hinglish with your own Deepgram key sends audio to Deepgram.
Which browsers work?
A recent Chrome, Edge or Safari. Exporting video needs the browser's built-in video encoder.
Can I use my own Deepgram key?
Yes. Add it in Settings to use Deepgram for transcription, including Hinglish.
